Alaska—October 2020

Wild Things Make My Heart Sing

Nearly all the places I choose to travel to are at least partly because of their natural beauty, including wildlife, and the vastness of Alaska’s “last frontier” is one for the records. For example, eagles on MacDonald Spit are as plentiful as grey squirrels in a Louisiana backyard and abundant sea otters are curious neighbors for kayakers on the coastal bays. I wonder what else there is to discover in this great big beautiful world with the whole sky above it.
