Alaska—October 2020Interior Alaska
After a month on MacDonald Spit, at the start of October I left to explore the interior of the state. In Anchorage I rented a Toyota Highlander which served as my transportation as well as lodging for a 10 day journey with stops including the Iditarod Headquarters, Hatcher Pass, Talkeetna, Denali National Park and Preserve, Chena Hot Springs, the North Pole, Valdez, McCarthy, and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & National Preserve (a UNESCO World Heritage site).
