Alaska—September 2020Between Beaches Alaska
This was my second work-trade arrangement via helpx.net and won’t be my last. Between Beaches Alaska is a remote coastal Alaskan lodge on MacDonald Spit in Kachemak Bay across from Homer and consists of several rustic cabins, each with lots of character and attention to detail. I stayed in several of the comfortable cabins during the month I worked for room and board in this naturalist’s haven and highly recommend it to guests who like adventure with creature comforts: www.beachesalaska.com. By the way, my first helpx experience was working at Kauai Beach House Hostel in 2018 and my next will be at a small family croft in the West Highlands of Scotland in December 2020.
